Action: Flexes the metacarpophalangeal joint.
Innervation: Lateral terminal branch of the median nerve and the deep terminal branch of the ulnar nerve, C8 and T1 (primary).
Note: This site, along with other muscles of the distal extremities, has been found to be optimal for tceMEPs. Additional muscle groups may be monitored to provide added information, but the data is generally considered to be less reliable.
