Name: Palmar Interosseous, Alternative Site
Action: Abducts the fingers from an imaginary longitudinal axis through the center of the middle finger.
Innervation: Deep branch of the ulnar nerve, C8 and T1 (primary).
Note: This site, along with other muscles of the distal extremities, has been found to be optimal for tceMEPs. Additional muscle groups may be monitored to provide added information, but the data is generally considered to be less reliable.
